From coast to coast there is no better way to enjoy steamed or boiled seafood than with King Kooker. Steam or Boil your seafood and veggies to perfection. Cook large quantities of food using the 50 Qt. aluminum ridge pot with steamer basket. King Kooker lets you eat like a king! Try the suggestions in our detailed instruction and recipe booklet, or create your own favorites.
Seafood Boil
Fill pot ½ full of water. Add four 16 ounce containers of King Kooker Crab Boil (B003XJEE4I). Bring water to a rolling boil. Add seafood and boil for 5 minutes. Then cut off the fire. Gently stir the seafood and let it soak. Add one or two 8oz bottles of King Kooker Crab Boil (depending on desired spice preference). Squeeze lemon juice into water to add more flavor.
Steamed Seafood
Place 1/2 gal. each of water and vinegar into the pot. Add 2 1/2 tablespoons of your favorite steamer seasoning and 3 tablespoons salt to water/vinegar mixture. Place the steamer rack into the pot and layer the seafood on the steamer rack, sprinkling each layer generously with steamer seasoning. Salt to taste.
Boil Large Quantities
Safely and efficiently boil large quantities of corn, potatoes or your favorite ingredient in the 50qt. pot with perforated basket.
